During this ride we've had a lot of time to talk. One of the things we decided was that while this ride is something very cool for us, we could make it much more. We've decided we're going to try to harness our ride to raise money for an organization known as World Bicycle Relief. Between your donations through the link below and a few slideshows and talks that we are planning to do to share our story once we complete the ride we are hoping to raise one dollar per mile we'll ride on this trip for a total of $2700.

For $134 WBR can provide a specially designed bicycle to someone in need. By reaching our goal we will be allowing WBR to donate 20 bicycles to people in rural Africa. By riding a bicycle people can carry more, travel farther, and get places faster. These bicycles are used to allow children to reach schools and obtain an eduction, to allow healthcare providers to reach more patients, and to help small businesses flourish.
