Week update: We arrived in Palo Alto on Sunday for a flight leaving Thursday. Jasper spent the next 36 hours partying hard with friends in Berkeley and SF explaining his state in this picture. Joshua spent the time unpacking from his move back from San Luis Obispo and seeing his family. After we reunited we spent most of the time driving in circles around Palo Alto purchasing supplies, packing, and planning our trip. Some of our more notable adventures included attempting to find packing tape at 11pm last night, boxing bikes last night at 2am, and an awesome Tower of Power concert with Uncle Bill!
The plan: After flying to Calgary we were planning to CouchSurf the first night in Calgary and then again after riding to Banff. Unfortunately our hosts in Calgary bailed on us last minute so for Calgary we're winging it with a hostel, hotel, side of the road, some random person's backyard etc. We're excited to meet Mel in Banff and sleep on her couch and then turn south, find dirt, and start our ride!
