Shit

Ahh Banff; where the food is expensive and so is everything else. We Spent the night at the tunnel mountain campground while kids from Quebec blasted American music that was at least 10 years away from being musically relevant. We awoke to skies that steadily cleared as the day progressed; the hangovers of our young calgarian friends subsided at the same rate. We found unopened beers along the path into town and it was clear that our luck was finally starting to turn our way. We dropped our bags at the bike shop and set off to see the sights of the town. After enjoying a beer on the riverside we met up with our wonderful hostess, Mel. Soon after we went to a barbecue where we feasted on Moroccan chicken and met half of the staff of the local lulu lemon store. Next time you see me I will be wearing yoga pants. Not. This morning (Saturday) we have finally heard back from the airlines and our bikes will once again be in our possession before noontime. We're excited to finally get on the road and begin the next chapter of this wild and rapidly evolving journey.
